Deadline Video Vows End to Late Delivery

A new venture has been launched that promises to revolutionise the way videos are created. Deadline Video is a delivery engine that teams up video creatives from around the world to complete a project, allowing videos and animations to be made in the shortest possible time.

With the importance of video for every type of business, delivery on time, on budget and on spec is critical.  When a commission is made through the Deadline Video, should the team of video creatives not meet the agreed deadline, the project fee will be reduced by 10% each day until the project is complete.

Matt Scott, founder and MD of Deadline Video, commented: “Video production is a fast moving business where deadlines are crucial in business launches, marketing campaigns or keeping up with current affairs. It may be that clients are unaware of the timescales involved or perhaps something urgent has come up.

“People need to have confidence that their project will be delivered on time, and with freelancers often juggling multiple clients at once, working through Deadline Video ensures they prioritise these projects. We use an international network of carefully vetted professionals who will only sign up to meet a deadline if they know they can deliver.”

Posting a brief takes less than five minutes. Once it’s complete, the Deadline Video team will check the details and post it in the online marketplace where individual creatives, including scriptwriters, animators and editors, can bid on the part of the project that fits their skillset. The client can then either choose the team themselves, or let a Deadline Video success manager match key skills to each project, before coordinating every stage of the project.

Matt added: “We make the most of the resources available. For the most urgent projects, tasks are divided between professionals in different time zones, which means the video is being worked on 24/7.  So a project could be commissioned in London, filmed in LA and edited in Australia, all on the same day.”

In addition to providing reassurance to the client, Deadline Video also offers guidance on everything from the different types of video available to suggested budgets and the various stages of video production.  The briefing process is simple and intuitive, backed up with the core pledge of a 10% daily saving if the agreed deadline is missed.

Once a tender has been awarded, a 50% deposit is paid and a contract is signed. Depending on the deadline, the client undertakes to provide feedback within 2-24 hours at every stage of the development process.
