DecorMatters Surpasses Three Million Users

The collaborative platform driven by AR and AI tech grows as it continues to make home design more enjoyable and affordable than ever.

DecorMatters, a collaborative mobile platform that brings the best home design and furniture shopping experience to the market, announced today that it has reached more than three million users within its in-app design community. Since its inception in 2016, DecorMatters has helped users from all around the world collect design inspirations, develop and learn home design skills, view products they like in their own home via the AR feature, and interact with other users within the design community.

“It all started when our founding team went through the strenuous and exhausting experience of home remodeling and furniture shopping,” said Farris Wu, Co-Founder and CEO of DecorMatters. “We were surprised by how that longstanding pain-point had been overlooked and how low the technology adoption was, even in the Silicon Valley. Since then, we have been devoted to designing, engineering, and refining DecorMatters in order to save our users time, effort, and money so they can enjoy the process of transforming their house into a home.”

DecorMatters user “Tay” stated, “Hands down, it’s the best app I have ever used. It's more than just a game…it’s become a way of life for many of us. I love being able to share my passion with others who feel the same way as I do. The support staff is great and the quality of the app is always getting better and better!”

The DecorMatters platform provides convenient design tools along with a deeply integrated furniture database. It helps do-it-yourselfers and design professionals visualize remodeling projects at practically zero cost, and reduces design time from days to hours. Unlike pricey professional software that provides minimal furniture flexibility, DecorMatters provides full integration of a furniture database with more than 30 top brands and more than 500,000 items, plus the option to upload your own furniture and easily visualize your final look.

“It is so exciting to have millions of users join our journey,” said Farris Wu. “We are still a long way from achieving our mission, but we are committed to adopting more technologies and offering more compelling features to make home design more affordable and enjoyable.”
