Dedge Products Brings Users Information and Diet Suggestions

New site offers tips on eating healthy

A new site, Dedge Products, offers users the information they need to eat healthy.

The site is planning to offer its users up-to-date information to help steer them in a healthier direction, along with ingredients they should and shouldn’t use. One recent post examined the potential hazards of cooking with vegetable oil.

"We want to be there for everyone who is trying to change their diet for the better. We offer readers the latest information on culinary trends, and we want to let people know that eating healthy doesn't have to mean eating foods they don't love!"

“Leading scientists recently discovered that vegetable oil releases toxic chemicals linked with cancer when cooked,” the site wrote. “The tests found that heating up vegetable oils (such as sunflower and corn oil) leads to high concentrations of aldehydes being released. Aldehydes are chemicals that have been connected to the development of dementia, heart disease and cancer. A further study by an Oxford University professor found that the fatty acids in vegetable oils are adding to other health issues.”

Another post looked at the ways herbs might add more than flavor to dishes.

“Most folks who enjoy cooking will tell you that herbs are great for adding flavor to dishes which in the past might have used fats or a great deal of salt instead,” the site wrote. “Herbs are also often used to provide a final touch, that stylish garnish to help a dish come alive on the table. However, many people might not know of the health benefits that can also accrue through using herbs in your cooking. There are suggestions that they can work to protect the heart, and help prevent diseases such as diabetes or even cancer.”
