Designers Fiesta 2 Gets More Festive with 3 New Sessions

The Designers Fiesta 2, Academy Class' contribution to the London Design Festival, adds three new sessions acknowledging current popular trends in digital media.

The Designers Fiesta 2, an event by Academy Class featuring workshops on digital media, improves its agenda with the addition of three new sessions. Happening on Friday, September 23, at 15Hatfields in London, the event's last-minute inclusions acknowledge the latest in popular design topics, such as creating tablet-optimised output and code-free web development.

From these three new sessions, two are to be presented by existing Designers Fiesta speakers. Adobe-Certified instructor Tareq Fadel introduces Adobe's latest web design-development software hybrid, Muse Beta, in 'Muse; Design HTML Websites without Code'. Ozgur Gorgun, Academy Class' resident video and photography software expert, explores one of digital photography's basics in 'All You Need to Know about Shutter Speed'.

Designers Fiesta 2's latest addition to the roster of speakers is Adobe's Rupert Knowles, who will be guesting to hold a workshop called 'Digital Publications on the iPad'. With the increase in popularity of mobile browsing and computing, this session aims to help designers create digital publications optimised for tablets such as the Apple iPad.

Aside from these additions, the scheduling for the sessions has been improved to accommodate a repeat of a few, more popular sessions. Repeats will include 'The Content-Aware Tools' by Mark Gatter, 'Mastering Graphics for Video in Creative Suite' by David Smith, 'Blogging Your Way to Profits' by Suraj Sodha, and 'InDesign CS5 Interactive SWFs' by Ian Gilbert. Towards the end of the event, all nine speakers will convene for an 'Ask the Experts' session, where delegates may spark conversation by throwing design-related questions.

The Designers Fiesta 2, part of the on-going London Design Festival, begins registration on Friday at 9:15 AM. Tickets will be sold at designersfiesta2011.eventbrite.com until an hour before the event. For more information about speakers, sessions, and the event location, visit designersfiesta.com.
