Details Announced for the 2010 Get Hitched, Give Hope Benefit & Auction
Online, August 11, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Get Hitched, Give Hope is pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for this year's Get Hitched, Give Hope party and auction. The benefit takes place October 28, 2010 at the new Seattle Four Seasons Hotel and features goods and services donated for auction by Seattle's top wedding professionals with all proceeds going toward granting the wishes of stage IV (end-stage) breast cancer patients through the Making Memories Foundation.
The evening is a swanky, fun cocktail party reflecting the sophisticated style of the Four Seasons Hotel, celebrates bridehood by offering local Mrs-to-be the chance to mingle with Seattle's finest wedding professionals and acquire wedding necessities (and luxuries) at a fraction of their market price. The party will feature live music by the Jason Parker Quartet, desserts by Tallant House and The Radical Cupcake, and models showcasing dresses by La Belle Reve and jewelry by T. Anthony Jewelers and Tiffany's. Recessionista brides will enjoy a chance to bid on these and many more items at as little as 30 percent of retail value. Attendees go head-to-head in the silent auction or bid on a cornucopia of themed live-auction packages like the Couture Fashion Package, Beauty Package, and Get Fit Package.
Founded in 2008, Get Hitched, Give Hope started the trend of small-business social entrepreneurship in the wedding industry and paved the way for bridal charities in the Pacific Northwest. All proceeds gathered by Get Hitched, Give Hope are donated to the Making Memories Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to granting wishes, including memory-making events, for stage IV breast cancer patients, while continuing to support, educate and increase awareness of breast cancer. Since its first year, Get Hitched, Give Hope has raised nearly $70,000, with a goal of raising $50,000 in 2010.
Tickets for Get Hitched, Give Hope may be purchased online at gethitchedgivehope.com and via any Brown Paper Tickets outlet.
