Detroit Tigers' James McCann Agrees to Multi-Year Endorsement Deal With Detroit Startup Lawrence Hunt Dress Shirts
DETROIT, MI, June 23, 2016 (Newswire.com) - James McCann, starting catcher for the Detroit Tigers, and Detroit-based startup Lawrence Hunt Dress Shirts proudly announce their partnership and endorsement agreement. McCann is the first official brand ambassador and face of the men’s dress shirt line.
The company, which launched in early 2016, is known for using a patent-pending design and applying performance fabric technology to traditional 100% cotton dress shirts, making the dress shirts breathable and sweat-wicking. The dress shirts look classy enough for the boardroom, but keep you cool in the heat or in high stress situations.
“The first time I tried on a Lawrence Hunt shirt, I loved it immediately,” said McCann. “I had never seen a shirt like it before. The extra stretch in the arms helps the shirt move with me. I can look and feel great after a game or when I’m out to dinner with my wife, not worrying about sweating.”
“It’s exciting to have James on our team,” said Lawrence Hunt CEO Jeff Schattner. “He’s a leader both on and off the field and a perfect fit for our brand. And the fact that he believes in the long-term growth of Lawrence Hunt says a lot about his faith in and support of the burgeoning Detroit startup scene.”
Lawrence Hunt Dress Shirts retail starting at $50 for women and $65 for men, and are currently available online at www.LHwear.com.
