DHTMLX announces the release of DHTMLX JavaPlanner v.1.1. for Java. The update includes support for touch screen devices. Now event calendars created with JavaPlanner can be easily managed on tablets, touch screen monitors and the latest smartphones running iOS, Android and Windows 8.

Additionally, the new release introduced a user-friendly extension "Quick info" that adds bigger and handier buttons to the edit form. It is best applicable with the 'terrace' skin. The default easy-to-target buttons "Details" and "Delete" contained in the edit form can be custmized, depending on the user's needs. For example, if a booking calendar is created, you can add custom buttons like "Book" or "Reserve"; if a task managers is created, the button "Assign a task" can be used, and so on.
