Dianne Meeks's Newly Released "The Heir" Is a True Example of God's Will and That Everything That Happens, Happens on God's Time.
"The Heir" from Christian Faith Publishing author Dianne Meeks is an original story of a man who puts his faith in God to help him save his family ranch.
New York, NY, June 8, 2016 (Newswire.com) - “The Heir”: a gripping and riveting book of two brothers and the decree that the one who marries first will inherit the family ranch. Will the fate of God leave Francisco with a wife before his brother gets married, or will Francisco lose the ranch which has been in the family for over a hundred years? “The Heir” is the creation of published author, Dianne Meeks, a first time author.
Dianne Meeks considers herself a farm woman who married Kenneth Meeks in 1960. They farmed for 41 years on a 353-acre farm in the Tucumcari area of New Mexico. She started writing this story when she was in her 20's. Her husband passed away October 10th 2010. After Dianne’s husband’s death, she decided to move. During that time, she found this story in her things and decided to finish it.
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Dianne Meeks’s new book is the tale about a determined Francisco, who is willing to go to the world’s end to save his mother’s ranch from his half-brother. God steps in and presents him with a unique situation.
Francisco was going home; he had failed to buy a wife. His half-brother, born out of wedlock, would inherit the ranch that had belonged to his mothers’ people for over 100 years. His father had adopted Carlos, making him able to inherit. His father then stipulated in his will that the one who married first would inherit everything. The other would get nothing.
Francisco had left the ranch hoping to bring back a wife, and save the ranch. If they never consummated the marriage they could divorce after the ranch was in his name, this was his thinking when he went on this trip. He had failed, in three days the ranch would be Carlos’s, he was getting married. I can’t even buy a wife, he thought.
Suddenly his headlights struck a man with a knife, who ran. A girl was laying naked in the ditch. As he tried to help her he was taken by her beauty. She said he had saved her life; how could she ever repay him. He didn’t want any payment, then he thought, I need a wife. “The only thing I need is a wife; will you marry me?” Could they keep their marriage in name only?
