Digisonics Releases DigiView 3.7.7.6 Software
Online, January 13, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Digisonics is pleased to announce the latest software release of the DigiView Image Management and Structured Reporting System. DigiView is the top-rated, fully functional web-based cardiovascular image and information system (CVIS) designed with highly configurable structured reporting, a cardiovascular review workstation, powerful PACS and an integrated clinical database.
The latest software release includes a new graphical user interface (GUI) with redesigned icons, screens and a modified layout that streamlines workflow and enhances the overall user experience. Other features include the ability to utilize multi-monitor imaging for study comparison, as well as support for widescreen monitors. In addition, the new Dynamic Preview feature provides real time Preview displays with no limitation on the number of images in a view.
New clinical functionality specifies required patient/study fields that must be completed before leaving a form (overrides will be permitted) to meet essential "meaningful use" criteria and accreditation standards. A "Findings to Summary" capability allows clinicians to insert findings into the summary section of the report and the new Ready View feature automatically updates the study with images as they are acquired from the modality. To ensure efficient remote reading, Citrix download performance has been improved significantly.
Active Directory is another new feature which enables users to sign into DigiView upon logging into their operating system, eliminating duplicate password entry for both clinicians and IT personnel.
DigiView 3.7.7.6 includes a host of new reporting capabilities, including an upgraded Vascular reporting package equipped with new auto-labeling on all vascular graphics, enhanced drawing tools for Stent, Stenosis, and Clots, as well as full page graphics with results. New Vascular study types include Transcranial Doppler, Dialysis, CIMT screening, Multiple grafts and Lesions in lower extremity arterial studies. Users can also create their own study types, utilizing site specific graphics as desired.
Nuclear Cardiology reports include new 17 segment polar maps for scoring perfusion defects and wall motion/thickening. Other new study types include Pacemaker evaluation, ICD Evaluation and Cardiology Discharge.
