Digital Firm TradeMark Media Invests in Austin, Texas' Growing Eastside Landscape
Austin, Texas, August 6, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Digital strategy, design and web development company, TradeMark Media, has moved its headquarters to Webberville Road in East Austin. This move by the award-winning tech entity is sure to be a boon for the eastside, which is attracting more and more residents and companies each day. TradeMark Media’s new office will provide ample workspace for the growing company and add more vibrance to the area.
The company’s new, ultramodern office resides in one of three buildings on a plot. Situated next door are Treble PR and What.It.Is Creative in one structure (who are leasing their space from TradeMark Media) and the beloved Dog & Duck Pub in the other. Compared to its previous office space, TradeMark Media’s new headquarters is 50% larger. The architectural design is by Richard Weiss of Weiss Architecture whose work has graced a number of residential Austin homes and businesses including five Alamo Drafthouse locations, Midnight Cowboy, Highball, Kirby Lane, Vince Young Steakhouse, Daruma, the Zero Gravity Institute and many more. Minimalistic in nature, the interior features wood paneling juxtaposed by concrete floors, orange-trim ceiling lights as accents, sliding doors, separate offices, meeting rooms and even a private “telephone booth” adorned with pop-culture icons and Austin visuals. It is a work environment that speaks to creativity without being too distracting, leaving enough blank space for the creative minds within to do their work.
"Our dramatic growth can be traced to a number of factors. But chief among them, I think, is our commitment to doing things differently. Traditionally, web design firms thrive on volume; they want to get as many clients in and out their doors as quickly as possible. We don't work that way. Instead, we aim to create long-term partnerships with our clients. In fact, nearly half of our revenue comes from repeat business and ongoing services, and that's because we invest in our clients' online success from day one."
Nick Weynand, TradeMark Media's President and Founder
TradeMark Media’s move comes as a much-needed shift, triggered by the company’s rapid success over the last few years. The 16-year old business experienced a nearly 281% increase in revenue over a three-year period from 2012 to 2014, and its client roster continues to expand. Recent additions to its portfolio include Whole Foods Market, Rockwell Automation (Fortune 500), National Instruments, The University of Texas at Austin, Houston Public Library, Texas Department of Banking, Texas Bankers Association/Compliance Alliance, Texas Broadcasters Association, Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Texas Association of Realtors, Texas Historical Commission and more. Along with its surging earnings and workload, TradeMark media’s team also continues to grow in size. During the same three-year period from 2012-14, the number of TradeMark employees increased by nearly 123%. By the end of 2015, the company expects to employ 25 full-time staff members. Set up for further success, TradeMark’s expansive new location provides room for future organizational growth as it can comfortably host up to 35 employees.
TradeMark Media’s President and Founder, Nick Weynand, commented on the company’s evolution saying, “Our dramatic growth can be traced to a number of factors. But chief among them, I think, is our commitment to doing things differently. Traditionally, web design firms thrive on volume; they want to get as many clients in and out their doors as quickly as possible. We don’t work that way. Instead, we aim to create long-term partnerships with our clients. In fact, nearly half of our revenue comes from repeat business and ongoing services, and that’s because we invest in our clients’ online success from day one."
The newest additions to TradeMark Media’s team include: Content Marketing Manager Andrew Buck, Vice President of Business Development Mark Stacy and Project Manager Mark Ramón. The Austin-based firm known for complexity is currently hiring additional web developers. TradeMark Media is also looking to expand its business in the Dallas and Houston areas.
