"Black music month is bigger than just African American music," says Corey "CL" Llewellyn, CEO of Digiwaxx Media. "It's an opportunity to show our appreciation for this rich culture that we love so much, while also giving back to a worthy cause."
Opus 118 Harlem School of Music that works in tandem with more than two dozen school and community programs to teach classical music to both children and adults with lessons in violin, cello, and piano. Truly a unique and one of a kind gem in Harlem's predominately African-American community, the school is engaged in a crucial campaign to raise $500,000 to keep their programs going. Recognizing the importance of such arts programs and their impact on the future of our children and Black music, Digiwaxx Media has stepped up to help support the Harlem School of Music in their campaign with THE BLAST LIVE being the first effort.
