DirectRooms.com - Blackpool Hosts International Youth Football Tournament Between 23 And 25 April 2011

Online, February 7, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The Blackpool Cup International Youth Football Tournament will feature a number of youth teams who will be playing a series of games to challenge for the prestigious cup. Teams will play in categories decided by age with divisions for under 19s, under 18s and all the way down to the under 10s group.

Approximately 92 teams are expected to take part in the event which has been organised by Euro-Sportring, an organisation that sets up competitions throughout Europe. The event has been running in Blackpool since 1994 and the number of teams set to participant is testament to its popularity. This is likely to have a resulting affect on hotels in Blackpool with many places getting booked for the occasion.

The games will be played on the Common Edge Playing Fields of AFC Blackpool and as well as the main cup teams can also compete in the Challenge Cup where there will be a trophy for each team per category except the under 9s, 10s and 11s.

The tournament starts on 23rd April and runs up until 25th April 2011 with games starting at 09:00 each day.
