DirectRooms.com - Invitation to Catch Hundreds of Classic Cars in Luton in June 2011
Online, April 18, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Luton Festival of Transport is a presentation of vehicles of every description from cars, buses, motorcycles and commercial vehicles as well as many other vehicles built for the road. To qualify as a classic car the show only accepts vehicles that were manufactured prior to 1980 but visitors are sure to find cars made long before then.
Set to be taking part in the event will be collections of all time classics such as Jaguars, MGs, Aston Martins and even the odd Rolls Royce. There will be a competition comparing vehicles in different classes and prizes awarded for the cars in the best condition and with the best restoration. Different clubs will also be taking their positions at the gathering including the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club and 50 other associations.
Petrol heads travelling from outside Luton and requiring overnight accommodation at hotels in Luton will need to make a booking for Sunday 12th June when the festival takes place at Stockwood Park from 10:00 to 17:00.
Lek Boonlert, marketing head at DirectRooms.com commented: "Motoring enthusiasts will be travelling from around the country to see the comprehensive collection of cars on display. Booking hotels early will therefore be a necessary requirement for anyone planning on heading to the event."
