DirectRooms.com - Isle Of Wight Becomes A Canvass For The Arts During 15 To 17 April 2011

DirectRooms.com reveals that the best of all forms of art will be the centre of a dedicated festival taking place on the Isle of Wight in April.

Over three days between 15th and 17th April 2011, Isle of Arts will offer people a comprehensive collection of every type of artistic creation covering music, literature, paintings, photography, film, comedy and drama. A number of celebrity artists will also be headlining on each day of the show to ensure the festival has some of the best artists in each field.

Amongst the cast of talent is legendary film critic Barry Norman who is set to entertain audiences with stories from working within the movie business and meeting many of Hollywood's A-list stars. Comedic artist Rich Hall will also be at the event performing 90 minutes of quick-witted stand up and showing just why he's the winner of a number of comedy awards.

Opera fans can also look forward to a special night with Lesley Garrett as she's joined by hundreds of singers from the premier choirs in England and the south. Rock trio The Hamsters will also be taking to the stage to perform songs interpreted by Jimi Hendrix and ZZ Top to give the festival a rounded feel to all areas art.

Festivalgoers will want to try to book a hotel in Isle of Wight in the town of Ventnor which is the stage for all the fixtures.

Lek Boonlert, marketing head at DirectRooms.com commented: "Hotels are going to be hard to come by, so for anyone planning on attending it's essential to search out accommodation early."
