DirectRooms.com reports that Ho Chi Minh will be experiencing an influx of some of the world's most prominent businesses associated with the maritime industry as Vietnam's largest show for the industry is held in the capital
Online, January 18, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Over three days from 9th to 11th March, Maritime Vietnam 2011 is a collection of the foremost global manufacturers and suppliers from the sea and shipping industry. The show features seven pavilions of international companies coming from across the world to exhibit to Vietnam's buoyant market.
Exhibitors taking part will feature ship building companies, ship inspection and survey services as well as suppliers of crews and operations managers for running boats. The exhibition will also contain equipment for the maintenance of ships including paints, coatings, fuels, lubricants, pumps and new propulsion technology.
Vietnam has large supplies of oil and gas and many firms will be providing services for the safe transportation of the fuels and there will be an opportunity for visitors to meet with companies that deal with safety and security issues.
The show will run within the Tan Binh Exhibition and Convention Centre which is likely to cause a shortage of hotels Ho Chi Minh in closest proximity to the event as thousands of exhibitors and attendees stay within the surrounding area.
Lek Boonlert, marketing head at DirectRooms.com commented: "The expo is the main exhibition for the industry and combines many local and foreign buyers and exhibitors. Places are going to limited around the time of the event so people need to book hotels in advance if they want to find suitable accommodation."
