Discovery Kids Asia Brings on Big Bad Boo's "1001 Nights"

Vancouver June 13, 2013 - Discovery Kids Channel Asia has signed a deal with Vancouver-based Big Bad Boo Studios for the hit series 1001 Nights. Discovery will be airing fifty-two 11-minute episodes of the show on reaching over 20 Million homes.

Discovery will be airing fifty-two 11-minute episodes of the show on reaching over 20 Million homes in the region. Discovery Kids caters to the older 6-9 age group with popular shows such as Bindi's Bootcamp, Dino Dan and the Wild Kratts.

So far the 1001 Nights series has launched on channels such as Teletoon, CBC Radio Canada, ORF Austria, Disney and Al Jazeera Children's. The show was the most viewed #1 show at Mip Junior and placed in the top 10 in the last consecutive years. It has been nominated for 13 Leo Awards and won 4. The show also has a comic book collection which has been translated into six languages.
