Disney/Pixar's "Cars 2" Trailer Released

Online, December 8, 2010 (Newswire.com) - The follow-up sequel to the 2006 hit, Cars will be released mid summer. Cars 2 offers new scenery as it's moved out of Radiator Springs and over to Europe.

Lightning McQueen has proven that he has what it takes to be a national star after showing his skills off at the Piston Cup. In the upcoming film, Cars 2, Lightning McQueen and his good pal Mater team up for an international adventure versus the fastest cars in the world.

According to the official release, "Star racecar Lightning McQueen and the incomparable tow truck Mater take their friendship to exciting new places in Cars 2 when they head overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix to determine the world's fastest car. But the road to the championship is filled with plenty of potholes, detours and hilarious surprises when Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own: international espionage."

After watching the Cars 2 trailer featured at http://www.cars2trailer.net, it looks like we are in for more action and adventure than the first Cars movie and the same great humor that both children and adults will enjoy.

Like all of the new releases, Cars 2 will be featured in 3D, 2D as well as IMAX 3D. Cars 2 was directed by John Lasseter and co-directed by Brad Lewis, the producer of Ratatouille and features many of the same voices from Cars.

Expect Cars 2 to be a huge box office hit next summer.
