DJ Irie to Serve as Grand Marshall of Hottest Halloween Party on Las Olas

Online, October 1, 2010 (Newswire.com) - The Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County announced today that one of South Florida's most popular celebrities, DJ Irie, will be the Grand Marshall for Fright Night on Las Olas, the hottest event to hit downtown Fort Lauderdale in years. A fixture in South Florida's music and sports culture, DJ Irie is widely known as the Official DJ of the Miami Heat. When he is not in the stadium, this mover and shaker is operating his management firm Artist Related, participating in White House Next Generation conferences, and donating his time to charities and social causes. Now, as Grand Marshall of Fright Night, this inspirational celebrity is taking on Ft. Lauderdale like a storm.

On Saturday night, October 23, 2010, Las Olas' Riverside Lawn will be transformed into a haunted posh spot for this much anticipated adult costume party presented by the LEO Goodwin Foundation that benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs. At this premiere Halloween bash, hundreds of residents will gather with Florida's business and social community to benefit this worthy cause. Bacardi USA will provide specialty drinks from an elaborately decorated center bar. Miami's hottest band, Brendan O'Hara & The Big Bounce Collective, will perform live at the event, while popular Fort Lauderdale DJ, Adam Foster, keeps the music pumping in between sets.
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy special performances and fabulous food samplings from the finest restaurants in Broward County.
