DJ/Producer Jerome Farley Launches US Hope Tour

DJ/Producer Jerome Farley launches his US tour called Hope with an exclusive gig in Washington DC and ending with a gig with famed lego Artists, Cimon in New York City

Direct from Barcelona, Jerome Farley will be returning to the USA for the Hope Tour produced by Continuous Cool in conjunction with Figjam Records. Joining him on select dates of this tour is club legend Vernessa Mitchell who will perform her new single "Hope" produced by Farley. The tour kicks off on Saturday, April 23 at Town in Washington, DC and ends Sunday, May 15 at Cielo in New York City.

"DC is my hometown and New York was my home for many years before I moved to Barcelona," states Farley. "To open my tour in one home town and close in the other means this tour is very special to me and comes at an exciting time in my career." Indeed, Farley finished 2010 with over 35 releases on his label, Continuous Cool, a number of which climbed the Billboard dance chart, including "Rise!" which was a 2010 Top 10 hit and "Naked" which peaked at number 12 this year. Farley has also completed a number of high profile dance remixes that were accepted by the record labels, including remixes for Lady Gaga, Duran Duran and most recently, Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair." Farley starts his tour fresh from completing a remix for Smith's new single, "21st Century Girl", a new remix CD to be released later this year and the production on "Hope", after which the tour is named. "Hope" signifies a new stage in Farley's nearly 20-year music career. "Having the chance to work with Vernessa Mitchell is always an honor. This song represents to me the future of pop and dance music. It is what I see the future holds and to have a club veteran like Vernessa to help me showcase this new sound is thrilling."

Farley's technical virtuosity is recognized by audio equipment companies such as Pioneer to whom Farley, since 2000, provides regular advice on the latest, pre-release generation of sound equipment used by DJs around the world. Farley was one of the first DJs in the world to try the CDJ technology and now uses the DVJ technology to create the multi-media experience for which his shows are known.

Farley currently performs at special events in Barcelona, and has a successful radio show called BREAKOUT every Sunday night on Sobel Nation Radio. (www.jeromefarley.com)
The last night of Farley's tour is the after party for the VIP exhibition, "Come fall in love again" which features select pieces from the sculpture series, "Little Love Stories" by the artist Cimon. Each sculpture is a metaphor for a well-known phrase or term on the subject of love depicted using LEGO bricks and Swarovski™ Crystals as the media. The exhibit will be held on May 15, 2011, from 8 to 10 PM at the prestigious New York City nightclub, Cielo, and will also feature a 5-minute special presentation whereby a special soundtrack (especially programmed for Cielo's sound system) and lighting presentation will be shown every 20 minutes during the 2-hour exhibit.
