DJ Wats Goes Def Jam With Mixtape Release "Wats World"

Online, April 20, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Upcoming NYC rapper, viral marketing wizard DJ Wats announced at a press conference in Los Angeles this morning that the highly anticipated Wats World mixtape will be distributed by Def Jam.

The mixtape artwork, inspired by classic comedy film Wayne's World, is presented by California media company Tomorrows Celebs.

Forbez DVD says, "DJ Wats debut mixtape is amazing. The songs we heard at the private listening session were controversial, funny, catchy and everything you can imagine his fans will love. This could have easily been an album."

Music video director 576 Pro, responsible for some of the highest viewed videos online, "Sour & Moscato" and "Hulkshare Boomin" will direct three music videos for songs off the mixtape and a mini movie starring DJ Wats, his Bakery Gang family and special guests.

The Wats World mixtape features appearances from Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, Pinky XXX and Bakery Gang artist R.E.M.O.

In anticipation of the mixtape, DJ Wats recently released the songs "Ni Hao Kai Lan", "Girls On Craigslist" and "Jimmy Fallon" through his Twitter and Hulkshare accounts.
