Dorothy And Theodore Promote Wrapping Up Warm In the Snow
With the recent snow and cold the UK has been experiencing many people have been doing what they can to stay warm, putting on the heating or lighting a fire, but Dorothy and Theodore are promoting wrapping up in more layers to stay warm through this
Online, January 18, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Recently the UK has been experiencing much colder weather than usual. The BBC have reported widespread snow and freezing temperatures, forcing people to stay in their homes throughout the day, unable to get anywhere if they leave them. The weather is expected to get much worse over the weekend, bringing even more snow, with what settles on the ground freezing due to temperatures in both night and day being well below zero degrees.
People are struggling to stay warm in these colder temperatures, having had a warm winter by comparison, and don't know what to do to stay warm in their houses. Most people have already resorted to turning up their heating to keep their house and everyone in it warm, and others have lit their gas fires or brought in wood for real fires to heat up one room that everyone can gather in.
Dorothy and Theodore are promoting wrapping up warm in more layers to stay warm through this cold weather, a Customer Service Representative added, "When cold weather hits the country the best solution and first precaution for everyone should be to put on more layers. Even in the home, wearing a t-shirt, jumper and another jumper on top of that can help to keep you warm when the cold seeps into a house. Obviously people shouldn't suffer on if they're cold despite the extra layers, but they should definitely try to prolong not using the heating or fire for as long as possible by having on a few extra layers."
Overall, using the heating and fire will cost homes money, and with gas prices being a large expenditure for most households already, it's always better to try and not use it as much as possible. Wearing extra clothes can help to keep people warm and it saves money that can be used in the New Year.
