Dr. Furno Lectures At The United Nations On Nutrition's Role In Health Care Reform

The United States has the highest expenditure on health care in the world, yet was ranked 37th by the World Health Organization. Within two decades, the U.S. has dropped from 11th down to 42nd in life expectancy rankings. ("U.S. Life Expectancy Lags

Dr. Furno recently addressed the United Nations SRC Enlightenment Society on Nutrition's Role in "True Health Care Reform" and The Health Challenges of the 21st Century. Dr. Furno states "A normal, healthy body naturally heals from most types of conditions - whether illness or injury. If a person has a health condition that is not healing, there must be a barrier to healing. That's what has to be identified, and then the body has to be supported to overcome that barrier to healing. No matter what supplements are taken or healing methods are tried, if the barriers to healing aren't identified and removed, and a person isn't educated on the role that nutrition and dietary habits play in one's health, then one can't reach one's true health potential."

Dr. Furno went "back to the basics" and went over:

• what the five most common barriers to healing are
• the relationships between symptoms, organ dysfunction and nutritional deficiencies
• why your vitamins may be causing you more harm than good
• about how the degradation of the modern food supply and commercial farming practices are slowly killing you
• the consequences of being a "sugar junkie"
• how to unlock and release your healer within
• why we are living longer, but sicker lives
