"One of the procedures which has made a great difference for the children I care for is the partial or intracapsular tonsillectomy. By shaving down a tonsil to a thin rim of tonsillar tissue I'm able to leave some of the natural tissue which in turn protects the area to greatly reduce pain and bleeding after tonsillectomy. This results in children feeling much better in a few days rather than the traditional two weeks of recovery."

Dr. Klenoff has been named to Castle Connolly's Guide to Top Doctors in the New York Area, has been Awarded Physician of the Year by Abilis of Fairfield County, was peer-selected as one of the Best Doctors in Connecticut by Connecticut Magazine, and has been selected as one of the Best Doctors in America.
With many years dedicated to medicine, Dr. Klenoff brings a wealth of knowledge to his industry, and in particular, to his area of expertise, Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.
When asked about recent developments in his specialty, Dr. Klenoff said, "An exciting development in ENT care is the movement towards smaller and less invasive procedures. Balloon sinuplasty, for example, is an in-office procedure to open up sinuses. A small balloon is threaded into the sinus under local anesthesia in the office and for many patients, it provides long term relief of sinus symptoms. After balloon sinuplasty patients generally return to normal activities the next day, in contrast to traditional sinus surgery which requires general anesthesia, and a prolonged period of recovery. Another example is thyroid and parathyroid surgery, where I can often use a one-inch incision to perform a surgery that would previously have required a five-inch incision."
As a thought-leader in his specialty, Dr. Klenoff has enjoyed treating adults and children in the Greater Stamford area, including Fairfield County, Westchester County, and beyond throughout Connecticut and New York. In his pediatric practice, he works with an integrated pediatric team including pediatricians, anesthesiologists, radiologists, and nurses. He has employed multiple methods to reduce recovery time and complications.
