Dr. Leah Hollis of Patricia Berkly LLC To Give Keynote At Cornell University
Online, November 12, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Dr. Leah Hollis, present of Patricia Berkly LLC, is billed as the keynote speaker for Cornell University's Diversity Update Conference in Ithaca, New York. As Cornell University remains committed to diversity and access, Hollis' speech will address healthy workplace issues and reported in her book Bully in the Ivory Tower which reports that 62% of employees in higher education are affected by workplace bullying. In fact, close to 5 weeks a year on average are wasted when the target of workplace bullying disengages from the workplace in a protective stance from the bullying and hostile environment.
The weekend will behind with Dr. Hollis speaking with Ujamaa Residential College. The Sunday event will encourage students to consider their leadership styles and strategies during their Unity hour. On Monday November 18, 2013, Dr. Hollis will address over 170 participants at the Statler Hotel on the campus of Cornell University. She will then lead breakout session to reflect on how minorities can be mislabeled as the bully. Close to 70 will attend her break out session as well.
The conference is attracting college, university and city officials from across the region with colleagues serving as professors, deans, and chief diversity officers.
Hollis and her team at Patricia Berkly have had a been honored to speak to colleges and universities such at Montgomery County Community College, West Chester University, Cornell University, and several others through virtual delivery to get the word out about workplace bullying and individual and organizational strategies to stem the aggression.
