During an Uncertain Election Season, the Citizens Count NH Mobile App is a Proven Winner
The nonpartisan, nonpolitical voter resource continues to receive endorsements from key political players.
Freedom, NH, November 3, 2016 (Newswire.com) - In an election season that has witnessed an enormous amount of volatility and uncertainty on both sides of the aisle, the NH Voter Guide 2016 smartphone app from Citizens Count, NH’s Live Free or Die Alliance, has continued to cut through the political spin. The app offers clear, unbiased information about every major candidate on the ballot in New Hampshire and where they stand on key issues.
Endorsements for the app continue to roll in. This week, nationally recognized UNH political science professor and author Dante Scala stated, “This app is tailor-made for New Hampshire voters eager to be informed, from the top of the ballot to the bottom.”
A neat, uniquely New Hampshire source for election-related information.
Bill Gardner, NH Secretary of State
Just last week, both candidates for the U.S. Senate, who haven’t agreed on many issues, found common ground on the NH Voter Guide 2016, calling it a valuable tool.
Senator Kelly Ayotte commented, “The Live Free or Die Alliance does terrific work to encourage active participation in our democratic process, and this new app is a helpful tool for voters to easily access information about where the candidates stand on the issues important to our state.”
Governor Maggie Hassan stated, “I commend the Live Free or Die Alliance for their efforts to provide New Hampshire voters with the information they need to consider the clear choices they face in this election. This innovative app will help to engage Granite Staters and get more people involved in our electoral process.”
Even New Hampshire Secretary of State Bill Gardner, who has presided over more elections than any other Secretary of State, called the app “a neat, uniquely New Hampshire source for election-related information.”
With just a week until election day, the NH Voter Guide 2016 continues to see a steady increase in the number of downloads, demonstrating the need by the New Hampshire electorate to stay informed about those who are seeking public office.
“Our goal is to provide reliable information on all of the candidates, not just those at the top of the ticket. The more information voters have, the more likely they are to go to the polls and cast their vote,” stated NH Voter Guide 2016 project leader Sharon Ponchak. “Our mission has always been to give people reliable information and let them make their own informed decisions based on that knowledge. That’s what this app is all about.”
