DVDFab 8.1.8.1 Beta Offers World's First Solution to Copy Blu-ray 3D to Blank BD 25

Online, May 8, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Fengtao Software Inc., the leading multimedia software company majors in DVD, Blu-ray copy and video converter, released an upgraded version, beta build 8.1.8.1 of its all-in-one shareware suite for Windows. This new beta version offered world's first solution to copy Blu-ray 3D to Blank BD 25 disc. Here is the news in detail.

DVDFab 8.1.8.1 Beta rolls out on May 5
On May 5, Fengtao Software released another beta version of its multimedia solutions software package, for Windows edition only again. Comparing with previous updates, this new upgrade came up with another 3D solution as far as Blu-ray is mentioned. To go in line with that, it also had some other minor improvements and fixes.

The most important new features in this new beta version were the added support for copying entire 3D Blu-ray to BD-25 blank disc, keeping the original 3D effect and the updated VSO burning engine. By updating the VSO burning engine, a repeatedly occurring blue screen of death (BSOD) problem which had been bothering some users for a long time was gone.

In Blu-ray Copy software, users were offered a brand new 3D solution when copying Blu-ray 3D movies, and it was the world's first one to do this: copying the entire Blu-ray 3D disc to a blank BD-25 disc, at no cost of the original 3D effect. But, to this end, there were three premises, 1) the burning engine must be DVDFab burning engine, which can be settled at Common Settings->Write->Burning engine, the other three burning engines not supported, 2) using Blu-ray RW blank disc was highly recommended and it's better to copy to hard disk drive as ISO file first to make sure it worked in that way and, 3) DVDFab Virtual Drive version 1.3.7.0 was recommended if users needed to play the created 3D ISO file from the hard disk drive to check if it really worked.

Other fixes and improvements: developers fixed a problem that some special discs cannot be opened and another one which BDAV disc cannot be opened on certain drives. In Video Converter section, devs fixed a 502.12.7 problem when converting with avi.xvid.audiocopy profiles, a 504.00.12 problem when converting with most of mkv and mp4 profiles and, a freeze problem when converting with audio.copy profiles.
