DVDFab 8.1.9.6 Qt Optimizes Overall 3D Compatibilities

Fengtao Software, on July 17, officially delivered another major upgrade DVDFab 8.1.9.6 Qt. Huge efforts were invested into improving the compatibility issue between the backup 3D Blu-ray discs and other apps or hardware, which could easily be seen from the new features list. Most importantly, developers added supports for PowerDVD 12 (from Cyberlink) and PS3 (Sony Play Station 3rd generation) to playback the copied 3D Blu-ray discs. More specifically, a crash problem when opening Blu-ray discs in certain cases, a stutter problem when playing Blu-ray 3D backup on standalone players in several circumstances, a freeze problem when copying Blu-ray 3D disc to BD25 with "Remove HD audio" option enabled, an oversize problem when copying Blu-ray 3D disc in certain cases, and the menu of Blu-ray 3D backup is not shown on standalone player in certain cases. DVDFab 8.1.9.6 for Mac Added New 3D Solution

DVDFab 8.1.9.6 for Mac was released on the same day. The new Mac counterpart added a brand new solution to Blu-ray copy for Mac to copy the entire 3D Blu-ray disc onto blank BD 25 disc. Most significantly, the compressed 3D backup disc has the identical 3D format as the studio produced original disc, which was also the world's first one to come this far.
