E-GuideTV Brings DFW-Area Hotel Guests Big Game Event Info
Guests staying in hotels featuring E-GuideTV will be informed of daily news, events and promotions.
Online, January 28, 2011 (Newswire.com) - E-Guide Services, Inc. (EGS) announced today that E-GuideTV, the popular on-screen hotel television guide, will be used as an outlet to inform hotel guests in the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) area of events that are taking place leading up to and in conjunction with the February 6 big game in Arlington.
These activities, which also appear in the Events Calendar on the North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee's web site (www.northtexassuperbowl.com), will run continuously alongside E-GuideTV's channel listings in an effort to keep guests informed by showcasing detailed event times, locations and ticket information. In addition, guests can stay in the know while on the go by following E-GuideTV on Facebook and Twitter, where the activities will also be posted.
"We are pleased that E-Guide Services will be making available information to the thousands of out-of-town guests who are staying in hotels throughout North Texas," said Charley Wilson, Director of Marketing Programs for the North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee. "This is a great way for people to see what daily activities are scheduled so that they can make their plans accordingly."
E-GuideTV will also be using QR codes in their on-screen advertisements, allowing viewers to scan the code with their smart phones that will lead them to E-GuideTV's Facebook or Twitter page to stay constantly informed on events, news and deals in the area.
Along with keeping viewers up-to-date on events during the week, E-GuideTV will be posting other local events, promotions and deals in DFW for visitors to take advantage of via E-GuideTV.
"We are excited about the opportunity to contribute to the success of this first-ever North Texas big game and to know that visitors will find E-GuideTV useful while planning their daily activities for the week," said Christopher S. Stark, President and CEO of EGS. "We encourage local vendors and promoters to engage with us as we can help to further inform our visitors of exciting game events and promotions."
E-GuideTV is currently viewed in 22,700 hotel rooms around the DFW Metroplex and is projected to reach more than 45,000 visitors daily during the week of Jan. 31 to February 6.

In July 2007, EGS was formed to provide that solution, and Stark embraced a two-fold initiative: to serve these industries with accurate TV listings, and to provide advertisers with a way to reach these highly sought-after and segmented demographic audiences.
E-GuideTV is installed in over 102,000 hotel rooms throughout the continental U.S., accommodates more than 72 prominent hospitality brands and has the current capacity for more than 21.4 million impressions monthly.
