E-Learning platform 'Odijoo' becomes SCORM Compliant
Online, June 3, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Odijoo announced today that its free Social Learning platform and Rapid Course Management System is now SCORM-Compliant.
SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) is a global standard for packaging eLearning content. SCORM's integration with Odijoo will now allow teachers, trainers, consultants and others, to import their previously authored online courseware and begin teaching or selling it to learners at no cost.
Since launching in October of 2009, Odijoo has become a popular choice for small businesses and instructors needing to bring their learning and training material online. SCORM will expand Odijoo's functionality, by making it compatible with courses authored using third-party software.
"Odijoo's range of options for course development makes e-Learning easy and affordable for anyone, regardless of their technical expertise," says Shevy Levy, the visionary behind Odijoo. "SCORM will open new doors for course creators, by allowing them to bring their previously authored content into the platform and begin administering it to learners right away."
