EA Picks Launches New Professional Sports Monitor for Professional Handicappers

Online, August 24, 2010 (Newswire.com) - EA Picks will launch a new professional Sports Monitor just in time for the upcoming 2010 NFL and college football season.

Sports bettors will be able to track their favorite handicapper for performance as EA Picks will handle the documentation process for the professionals.

Each handicapper is allowed to document 10 plays per day from each sport and may designate one of those plays as their Play of Day or Best Bet. Each handicapper is allowed to release a documented play as a free play for the EA Picks audience to sample.

The sports monitor documents all the major sports which include the NFL, college football, NBA, college basketball, Major League baseball and the NHL. EA Picks will monitor money lines, totals, run lines, puck lines and against the spread betting picks.

EA Picks has stated on their website that they adhere to strict guidelines as each recorded play is final and money lines favorites are limited to -500 maximum. Another guideline established by the owners is the inability for handicappers to redo picks in hopes of padding records by taking advantage of line moves in their favor. Each play is documented at the betting line at the time of submission to the monitor.

Each handicapper must be established in the industry and own a stand alone website where they offer picks for sale. Each play will count as 1 unit as the monitor will not tolerate unit manipulation on their monitor as the owners believe their viewing audience are interested only on winning picks.

Each professional will have their own profile page where specific records are kept. Records include year to date performance, season to date performance per sport and Play of the Day records to just name a few.

The site has announced to be taking applications for monitor membership and each handicapper will go through a thorough screening process to ensure that each applicant is a serious handicapper.

The public will also be able to view each professional handicapping selection on the website thirty minutes after the scheduled start time everyday.
