Register by 17 June and lock in savings for this one-day event featuring leading experts from around the world.
The Software Experts Summit, "Smart Data Science: Harnessing Data for Intelligent Decision-Making," will be held on July 17 at Microsoft in Redmond, Washington, and provide organizations with solid advice on making intelligent decisions about handling today's increasing volume and array of data.
To register, visit www.computer.org/ses13.
Speakers will include James Whittaker of Microsoft, Paul Zikopoulos of IBM, Wolfram Schulte of Microsoft Research, John Howie of Cloud Security Alliance, Jeromy Carriere of X.commerce/eBay, and Ayse Bener of Ryerson University. SES 2013 will take place at the Microsoft Conference Center, located on the main Microsoft Headquarters Campus in Redmond.
Attendees will learn how to use small sets of data to guide decision making due to inconsistent data structures, as well as analyze different types of data, such as text messages, multimedia presentations, and video streams, and effectively use technologies that create and manage data.
"SES13 will give attendees exposure to the latest ideas and strategies on Smart Data Science from experts in both academia and private industry," said Forrest Shull, a division director at Fraunhofer Center for Experimental Software Engineering and editor in chief of IEEE Software.
SES13 is sponsored by IEEE Computer Society IEEE Software magazine, which delivers reliable, useful, leading-edge software development information to keep engineers and managers abreast of rapid technology change, especially regarding practice applications. Its peer-reviewed articles and columns by real-world experts illuminate all aspects of the industry, including process improvement, project management, development tools, software maintenance, Web applications and opportunities, testing, and usability.
