Earth Day Savings From Back2Tap

Online, February 10, 2011 (Newswire.com) - New Jersey based Back2Tap announces their Earth Day coupon now available to use when purchasing their stainless steel water bottles.

The mission of Back2Tap is to not only encourage people to return to using tap water by supplying quality stainless steel water bottles, but to also assist schools and organizations with green fundraising. In coordination with Earth Day, Back2Tap will be providing a $50 savings off a case of stainless water bottles.

"In the fall of 2007, after seeing countless plastic water bottles overflowing from garbage cans at parks and fields across town, we felt we had to do something. Initially, we wanted to work with the town to improve recycling efforts. After learning that only 23% of all disposable plastic water bottles are recycled and after learning about the tremendous waste involved in the production and distribution of water in disposable plastic bottles, we knew that recycling was not enough" states co-founder Lydia Chambers. Since then, Back2Tap has help many schools switch from plastic to tap water, but more importantly, have helped schools educate students about the negative environmental impact of disposable plastic water bottles. Three of the seven schools in their town are using their profits from the sale of stainless steel bottles to install filtered water coolers to provide great tasting chilled tap water to students and teachers.
