Eastland Nursing & Rehabilitation Participates in 36th Annual Ripfest
EASTLAND, TEXAS, November 7, 2016 (Newswire.com) - On Saturday, in Downtown Courthouse Square, Eastland Nursing & Rehabilitation took part in the community’s 36th annual RipFest. RipFest celebrates the legend of the horned toad, Old Rip, who is said to have been found alive after spending 31 years in the courthouse cornerstone. RipFest celebrates every year with over 2,500 attendees, food booths and various vendors.
Eastland Nursing & Rehabilitation’s residents and staff took part in the event by participating in the parade with their own float. C.J. Prater, Administrator, said the float was organized by one of the facility nurses.
"The residents enjoy the outing to RipFest every year. They enjoy the activities, the cooler weather, and getting to be surrounded by their friends in the community."
