ECHELON Institute Organized Seminar on 'Super Critical Power Plant in India'
Echelon Institute of Technology, Faridabad had organized one day seminar on, "Super Critical Power Plant in India" under the guidance of Chief Guest, Hemant Kumar Pandey, Deputy General Manager, Larsen and Turbo.
Faridabad, March 21, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Echelon Institute of Technology organized one day seminar on the topic, “Super Critical Power Plant in India” to make the students aware of upcoming new technologies in the field of Solar power. Chief Guest Hemant Kumar Pandey, Deputy General Manager Larsen and Turbo was warmly greeted by the Chairman of the institute - Sh. Prabhat Aggarawal. The event witnessed Principal, Dr. Bheem Singh, HOD Mechanical officer, Amarjeet Singh Chhagar, training and placement officer- Ashish Singh along with a count of 150 students of B.TECH.
Hemant Kumar Pandey enlightened the mass about ‘Super Critical Power Plant in India’ saying that the steam pressure remains around 222 degree in the plant while it remains very high in all other power plants. This plant requires very less amount of coal and water which makes it environment friendly and pollution free. He further added that in India, around 80% of the electricity is produced by using coal. This plant has just been initiated and this technology will develop more in the coming few years.”
Dr. Bheem Singh said that the information given in the field of power plant technology to the students will act as a boon and they can easily choose their career paths.”
