EG Innovations Names Rick Ruskin VP Sales

Online, October 18, 2010 (Newswire.com) - ISELIN, N.J. -- eG Innovations, Inc., a global supplier of business service monitoring software for virtual and physical IT infrastructures, today announced that Rick Ruskin has been named the company's vice president of sales for the Americas. In his role, he is responsible for direct sales activities throughout North and South America as well as for developing an indirect channel in these regions.

Tim Clark, formerly eG's VP of sales, is now vice president of strategic alliances, where he focuses on expanding eG's relationships with leading systems integrators, technology partnerships and OEMs.

Ruskin most recently was VP of sales at Virtera, which grew to the largest pure virtualization consultancy in the U.S. prior to its sale to Glasshouse Technologies in 2009. Prior assignments included VP of sales at MTI as the company grew from start-up to nearly $300 million; and VP of sales at Storability from its infancy to its sale to STK Corporation in 2005. Ruskin holds a BS in Biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and received an MS in Physiology from Columbia University in New York.
