Produced by Mart Green and directed by Jim Hanon, Little Town of Bethlehem shares the gripping story of three men-a Palestinian Muslim, a Palestinian Christian, and an Israeli Jew-each born into violence but willing to risk everything to bring an end to violence in their lifetime. Little Town of Bethlehem was filmed on location in the West Bank, Tel Aviv, and Jerusalem with a hope to bring awareness to a growing nonviolent movement in the Holy Land that rarely, if ever, makes international headlines.

As in past years, award-winning director Jim Hanon will attend the screening, introduce the film, and engage in Q&A immediately following. Hanon's filmography includes Beyond the Gates of Splendor, End of the Spear, Miss HIV, The Grandfathers, and Little Town of Bethlehem. As EGM's artist-in-residence, Hanon contracts with EthnoGraphic Media through his own production company, Minus Red. Commenting on his craft, Hanon suggests, "My goal as a filmmaker is to build these cathartic and rewarding moments through stories that can help us understand what it means to be human, part of a larger human experience."

EthnoGraphic Media (EGM) is an educational non-profit organization exploring the critical issues of our time. As a community of artists and filmmakers, EGM uses media to tell true stories of hope and compassion in the midst of suffering and strife. EGM believes that gaining a deeper understanding of the human condition inspires positive action.
