EKG Online Training Graduates Prove Increased Earning Power

Students who have graduated from Phlebotomy Career Training online ECG program have proven that they have not only been able to find jobs in their new field, but are making more per hour than their previous jobs. In times past, online programs were frowned upon by higher education authorities. In today's society however, online programs are now offered at the most prestigious educational institutions all over the world. Additionally, these online courses are accredited.

Phlebotomy Career Training has been offering on line programs for the past 8 years.   That which differentiates PCT from other on line programs offered at accredited and non-accredited institutions is the level of one on one instruction provided by master level professionals in the field.  On line electrocardiogram technician training requires rigorous study and a clinical externship.  The clinical externship requires the student to complete 40 hours of hands on real life application of electrocardiogram lead placement.

This component helps to solidify the students experience with ECG's and provides them a level of confidence and experience needed in the field.  The  on line ECG certification is a six month program.  While most students take only a few months to complete the course, they are given the extra time so that they are able to complete their externship training.  The director of Phlebotomy Career Training states, "Students are given as much information as they can process.  Our courses are designed for working adults who are determined to make their lives better through a career change in the hopes of increasing their hourly wage in medical field."

There have been hundreds of graduates who took the on line EKG certification class over the past 8 years through Phlebotomy Career Training.  In that amount of time 97% of all graduates found work in the field as electrocardiogram and telemetry technicians.  The average salary of a ECG technician is about $14.00 and hour according to payscale.com.  The typical student is making either minimum wage or less than $11.00 per hour prior to taking the course.  The amount of one to one help that each student receives is more attention than most accredited on line programs offer according to the administrators at PCT.

Electrocardiogram national certification is an additional perk that PCT offers students who enroll in the on line class.  The national certifying exam helps students demonstrate to employers that extra layer of achievement.  According to Phlebotomy Career Training administrators, "offering the national ECG exam has helped students demonstrate a higher level of proficiency in the field."
