ELC Technologies Launches ELC Mobile to Deliver Best of Class Custom Applications

Leading Dynamic Languages Developer Has More than Two Million Downloads to Date

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (February 22, 2010) - ELC Technologies (www.elctech.com), developers of some of the hottest interactive web applications for Global 2000 companies, today announced the launch of ELC Mobile, a new development company dedicated to creating new applications for mobile platforms such as the iPhone, iTouch, and iPad.

ELC Mobile, formerly operating as RightSprite, has logged more than two million iPhone application downloads from the iTunes store to date. The company has been developing a number of business and game applications accessible from iTunes, including a variety of client applications. By working with the ELC Mobile developer team, companies can shorten time to market and increase market reach for new iPhone and iTouch applications. The ELC Mobile team already has created its own software developer kit, including a content management system, making it easier to develop more sophisticated mobile applications in a shorter period of time.

"Mobile applications are strategic components of any company's development plans for success," said Jonathan Siegel, founder of ELC Mobile and president of ELC Technologies. "We have a proven track record of delivering the value of mobile applications to our customers. ELC Mobile will allow us to increase the range of services we provide in the mobile space to deliver more complex, engaging, and rich applications to a rapidly growing user base."

A number of global companies have been working with ELC Mobile to bring new applications to the iPhone mobile platform. Animoto, for example, contracted ELC to bring its popular, web--based software to the iPhone, so users can turn photos into music video montages on their iPhone. ELC Mobile also has developed iPhone applications for TuneCore, Heraeus, Xische Studies, and Yas Marina Formula One. The latest iPhone app from ELC Mobile is Memari, an iPhone version of the popular web memory game from Ze Frank (www.zefrank.com), an online performance artist who has developed a huge online following.

"It's one thing to find development partners to get the job done, it's another to find someone who understands the new possibilities of the iPhone and how to meet the challenges and customize for the new platform," said Ze Frank. "ELC Mobile understands the creative process and how to think about the tactile experience of the iPhone platform. They understand that not every platform is equal."
