Electronica Artist Kaydean to Release Double EP: Emerge/Submerge
Online, April 9, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Kaydean's first release in eight years, Emerge/Submerge is a double EP featuring a compilation of uptempo club grooves (Emerge) and a separate collection of darker, introspective tracks (Submerge).
"Since the 2003 release of Tranceformed, I've spent quite some time working within the underground scene, absorbing all the different sides of electronica as they related to my personality. I decided to release a double EP, as opposed to one full length album, because it better represents the various sides of who I am and who I've become in that time. The process of emerging and then submerging best describes the personal process I've gone through over the last eight years. First emerging from a dark state of mind and elevating myself, then better understanding myself, delving deeper, submerging. In a nutshell, Emerge/Submerge is my way of saying that after all I've been through -good and bad- I still have a desire to celebrate life," stated Kaydean.
Emerge/Submerge will be available on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody and other online outlets. For videos, tour dates and additional information, visit kaydean.net.
Kaydean plans to release another EP later this year before preparing for a worldwide tour which will kick off in early 2012.
