Eli Wilner & Company Frames Paintings for New York Academy of Art's "Take Home A Nude" Art Auction

Over 50 Eli Wilner Bespoke Frames to be on Display at Sotheby's Event.

Eli Wilner & Company, the frame sommelier, who has created over 10,000 masterpieces for the most prestigious art institutions in the world, has been selected to frame over 50 works of art for the New York Academy of Art's Take Home A Nude Art Auction and Party, which is taking place Monday, October 18th at Sotheby's.

Eli Wilner, who is a proud trustee for the NYAA, has gifted 2 frames for the live auction. The first frame is a replica of a mid-20th century shaped, black painted frame and was created for a seascape painting that was executed on an envelope by famed American painter Stephen Hannock. The second frame is a replica of a 19th century French frame, carved and gilded for Edward Schmidt's Nude at Table , which has an estimated value of $15,000.

Eli has also created 15 frames for John Bowman's graphite on paper drawing, Fire Garden, which will be displayed prominently around the event.

Eli Wilner & Company is proud to donate around 20 frames each year to the NYAA, some of which will be included in the silent auction, taking place throughout the evening.
