Elijah Rock Stars In Three Blind Saints

Online, February 27, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Elijah Rock has been making his mark on the entertainment scene as an all around entertainer. He recently stared in the independent feature film, Three Blind Saints, set for theatrical release this summer of 2011. In addition to acting, his past projects include The Family Will short film, which he co-wrote and stared in with Kevin Threat. It made its debut at The 2007 Urbanworld/Vibe Film Festival. Elijah, Kevin Threat and Dwjuan Fox have now developed the Family Will into a feature length film.

Elijah has a deep background in music as well. He released his debut Funk/R&B album with his band Elijah Rock and the New Funk Soul in early 2006, and went on to Co-Found the Downtown Project, a 6-piece jazz ensemble along with Paul Allen and Clarence Allen. In June of 2010, the Downtown Project headlined the KJAZZ (88.1) Moonlight Summer Jazz Series to rave reviews.

Elijah has traveled the world as a soloist with the Los Angeles Jubilee Singers. While in New York, he acted on and off Broadway in musicals and plays such as Ragtime, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Vaudeville, Jitney and more. He also produced and performed in his own off Broadway showcase entitled, "Things are Still What They Used to Be,"- A tribute to Big Band Swing.

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Elijah honed his craft acting and singing as a child, in many different Opera productions including La Boheme, Carmen, and Turandot at the Cleveland Opera. In high school, he became one of the first vocalists to be accepted into the prestigious Young Arts Program at the Cleveland Institute of Music. During summers, Elijah also studied voice at the Interlochen Arts Summer Camp in Interlochen, Michigan. He is an accomplished actor, vocalist, writer, producer and tap dancer. He is the co-founder of Decipher Entertainment-a boutique film production company.
