April 6, 2011 (Addison, Texas) - Alumni of the Texas Tech University College of Mass Communications announced an all-pro line up of corporate sponsors for "An Evening with David Feherty." At a reception and silent auction that will feature a humorous address by the CBS sports analyst and former PGA champ, Feherty will also accept the 2011 Double T Public Service Award on behalf of his Troops First Foundation.

In addition to the awards, "An Evening with David Feherty" will contribute to scholarships for students at the Texas Tech College of Mass Communications.

We commend and thank them for their support," said Dr. Jerry Hudson, Dean of the College of Mass Communications. Tickets and sponsorships are available. Proceeds will fund scholarships for current and future Mass Communications students at Texas Tech University.

About David Feherty:
Born in Northern Ireland, David Feherty is now proud to be another loud-mouthed Texan. Feherty is a champion golfer from the PGA and International Circuits. He now shares his humorous and style as a sports analyst for CBS. He and his his wife Anita have five children.
