EmbroidMe San Diego Seeking Sponsors to Fund Back-to-School Backpacks for Area Youth

San Diego, California, September 12, 2015 (Newswire.com) - In the first of what is expected to become an annual event, EmbroidMe San Diego, is organizing a backpack and school supply give away to benefit local area youth and seeking sponsors at every level to help ensure all needy youth are well-equipped for school.

“We are really excited to be organizing this event and in bringing together area businesses to support our youth. Many families struggle to buy the things students need to support their education, and this puts them at a huge disadvantage. This is our opportunity as a community to step up and support student growth, and in the process strengthen the fabric of our future,” explained Cam Schultz, owner of EmbroidMe San Diego.

The backpacks will be filled with supplies retailing at $100, and then made available to be purchased by sponsors at a deep discount of $46 who then can donate them to local schools or designated beneficiary organization.

“We can either ship the backpacks directly to your designated beneficiary organization, or ship them to you so you can deliver them personally.

Every donation helps support learning and literacy, and no donation is too small. The effort does have special sponsorship levels that include a $10,000 Super Hero, $5,000 Head of the Class, $2,500 Learning Leader, $1,000 Booster, $500 Supporter, and $250 Friend.

“We are pleased to announce we already have our first Super Hero Sponsor of 2015, North Island Credit Union. They are very involved in bettering the community and were excited to support education in San Diego. We are so grateful for their contribution,” Schultz added.
