Emerging Filmmaker Zia Anger To Debut Short Film At New Directors/New Films Festival In NYC
New York City, NY , March 16, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Filmmaker Zia Anger’s short film I Remember Nothing will have its world premier at the 44th New Directors/New Films (ND/NF) Festival in New York City. The Festival runs from March 18-29, 2015 in two locations, the Museum of Modern Art and Lincoln Center.

I Remember Nothing is about a student who, unaware that she is epileptic, tries to get through another day. The film is structured in five sections, after the phases of a seizure.
Zia Anger’s film will screen at the Lincoln Center Walter Reade Theatre on March 22nd at 2:45 pm and the MoMA theatre 1 at 6 pm, as a part of the NDNF Shorts Program 2.
Starring in I Remember Nothing are Sundance Film Festival break out Lola Kirke (Mistress America, Gone Girl), Michael Cavadias (Wonder Boys), India Menuez (Up in the Air, Uncertain Terms), Adinah Dacynger (Uncertain Terms) and Poet Robert Kelly. Original Score Written & Performed by Julianna Barwick, whose music has been described as "carebears making love" by Diplo.
Ms. Anger’s films and music videos have been seen at the Ann Arbor Film Festival, Vienna Independent Shorts, Rhode Island International Film Festival, and NewFest. Her work has been featured on Pitchfork, the Guardian, and National Public Radio. She has a BA/BS from Ithaca College and an MFA from School of the Arts Institute Chicago
