It was just a short time ago that the hard-hitting rapper T.O.N.E-z became the first Emmy Nominated rapper in the category of Best Original Television Theme Song for the hit FX series "Justified." The song's nomination, performed by "Gangstagrass," featuring T.O.N.E-z, was a historical moment for the Emmys and also for the Hip Hop/Rap genre.

The highly respected Elmore Leonard, author of the novels that were adapted into the series, was truly impressed by the "Gangstagrass" song and went as far as stating that they "created a new form of music."
