Empire Ventilation Equipment Company announced today that it is opening a new manufacturing facility in Florida, New York.

Empire Ventilation Equipment Company announced today that it is opening a new manufacturing facility in Florida, New York. The 7,500 sq. ft. building is situated on a 2 acre site conveniently located near Rt. 17, a major New York State artery.

Founded over seventy years ago by brothers Robert and Thomas Abernethy, Empire is headquartered in Queens, New York. It manufactures ventilators and ventilator parts, including Turbine, Soffet, Flush Flange, and Eveco Ventilators as well as adjustable and fixed mounting, ridge roof bases and registers.

In addition to its standard line of ventilators, Empire manufactures an architectural line with ventilators made out of stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized and copper that are not only in demand by environmentally conscious customers they also appeal to those people looking for economy of operation

"We built our facility to meet the needs of today's consumers," said Brian Taylor, the company's vice president. "They are much more concerned than ever before with buying products that are competitively priced, environmentally sound and affordable. Empire has lots of practice with that," he continued, "long before China began making low priced products and shipping them to America we were making competitive, high quality ventilators that saved money and were green."
