Empowering Her Summit Will Use Improv For Training

Online, April 3, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Shanelle Calvin Consulting has announced that Christine Walters, the owner of ComedySportz will emcee the inaugural Empowering Her Summit in Richmond, Virginia on June 17, 2010. In addition to her role as emcee of the event, Christine will conduct a series of improvisational activities that will emphasize confidence, teambuilding, and leadership skills. Shanelle Calvin, organizer of the Empowering Her Summit says, "The event is all about getting out of your comfort zone, enjoying yourself, and being an active participant in changing your life. The Empowering Her Summit offers this and more during a daylong event of thirty-minute interactive sessions focused on health and wellness, stress prevention, leadership, and professional image.

Only seventy-five women will attend to allow a more intimate setting, and to ensure women take an active role in the experience. Women will leave the summit with a support system of women, and tools they can use immediately after the program.

The event takes place at the Berkeley Hotel in the heart of Shockoe Bottom area in Richmond, Virginia. Registration is $100 for a VIP Ticket, which includes educational sessions, a networking buffet lunch, coffee breaks, a beauty session, and reception. Registrants also have the option for an educational session only ticket for $75 and a reception only ticket for $25.
