A Stirring Radio Drama Airs on April 6th on WKCR FM NY

New York, NY: Allisoun, The Wife of Bath, set out on a journey with other pilgrims during early in April in Chaucer's "Canterbury Tales." On April 6th, 2010, listeners will meet young widow Allison Bathfield, preoccupied by her loneliness but trying to finish a paper about The Wife of Bath when a burglar breaks into her kitchen, claiming that she "invited" him. Who is he? What has brought him to her isolated hilltop house? Which one will control the outcome?

"A Worthie Woman All Hir Live," a suspense drama, will air this Tuesday evening, April 6, 2010, on the program Arts & Answers on WKCR FM NY (89.9 and www.wkcr.org) from 9:30 - 10:00 PM. Columbia University owns this radio station.

Written by LindaAnn Loschiavo, a former medievalist, this one act play stars Mary Murphy as Allison Bathfield and Christopher Yustin as the Stranger. Sound and editing are by David Zema. The play was recorded live in New York City at Voice of Success Studio.
