"Helping our community is a part of who we are as a school," said Caitlin Franco, principal of Equality Charter School. "We truly want every student to gain something from this experience and be proud of the community that they live in."

In reflecting on the food that Equality Charter School donated for his church's food pantry, the church's pastor Rev. Robert Smith Jr. said, "the collection drive should stand out as an example of what people of good will can accomplish for people in need. There are many needy people in the community who need help, and we are determined to help as many people as we can. We thank the Equality Charter School community for their help in our effort."
