Equality Charter School Raises More Than $8,000 In Annual Bowl For Equality Event

Online, March 14, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Over 300 bowlers, comprised of students, staff and friends of Equality Charter School came out to support the "1st Annual Bowl of Equality" event, held on March 4, 2012 at Bowlmor Lanes in Union Square, New York. The fun-filled event which featured bowling, a raffle and more, helped raise more than $8,000 for the students of Equality Charter School, far exceeding the initial fundraising goal.

All funds raised during the "1st Annual Bowl for Equality" event will benefit the students of Equality Charter School. The school's mission is to provide a high level of academic rigor in a nurturing learning community that will help prepare students to be successful in college.
